Polarization Measurement
Polarization measurement services, in addition to design and fabrication of optoelectronic systems, are also a service provided by Polaris. Not everyone wants to buy a measurement system, especially when the measurement is a one time requirement and measurement systems can be very expensive. This is where Polaris comes in. With our existing lab and extensive variety of precision polarimeters, Polaris offers our customers the option of measuring the following:
Polarimetry – Measurements of optical light sources and polarization components
a. Waveband 400nm – 1000nm
- Non imaging Stokes vector polarimetry. Yields DOLP, orientation, and linear Stokes vector components S0,S1,S2, ellipsometry.
- Non imaging Mueller matrix spectropolarimetry. Yields linear retardance, linear diattenuation, circular retardance, circular
diattenuation, polarizance, depolarization index, extinction ratio
b. Waveband 3.0um – 5.0um
- Midwave IR imaging polarimetry. Yields DOLP, orientation, and linear Stokes vector components (S0, S1, S2) images, ellipsometry.
Height measurements in real time accurate to 0.5 inch on moving objects at a distance of up to 200 feet.
