Polaris Sensor Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Computational Physicist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applied mathematics, optical physics, and mathematical modeling. Lab experience would also be preferred. This position offers the opportunity to design, implement, and optimize complex algorithms for cutting-edge technology including polarimetric imaging systems, and to contribute to a variety of innovative projects.
This position is full-time (40 hours per week) in Huntsville, Alabama. Salary is commensurate with applicant’s qualifications and experience. Polaris offers an excellent benefits package including 31 days of PTO, flexible work schedules, health insurance and 401k.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and must be able to obtain a security clearance upon demonstrated need.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Optical Physics and related mathematics.
- Experience with C++.

- Self-motivated and able to manage concurrent projects effectively.
Education and Experience
- Graduate degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in optical lab setup, data analysis, and algorithm development.
Preferred Skills
- Optical experiment setup.
- Computer vision in MATLAB, Python, and/or C++.
- Mathematical modeling of optical phenomena.
